OT: Does anyone here work at Facebook?
«

There's an ongoing glitch I'd like to mention that's somewhat of timely importance but I cannot find any way to link or call directly to customer/tech support. And the Help pages don't provide much in the way of, well, help either.
Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks but that link appears more of a blog than a serious forum despite what's promised & mentioned. Browsing through the serious questions (i.e. skimming past the rants) shows many unanswered.

I'm guessing that FB couldn't give two rips about what your issue is, unfortunately. I just heard on the radio that Face traffic now exceeds Google traffic. That means venting, angsty teenagers now outnumber middle-aged guys surfing porn. What is the world coming to?
(But seriously, good luck--and what's the problem, out of curiosity? You can tell me to take a flyin' leap if you don't want to say.

so your telling francis that he, as a middle-aged guy surfing porn, is not as appreciated by the facebookers as venting, angsty teenagers?
wow ... that sucks francis.

Evan and I were catching the traffic report on the "news" this morning and he noticed one of those big, lit up highways signs in the background of one of the shots saying, "Facebook is the reason behind 20% of failed marriages." WTF? Why the heck is a freeway sign posting this kind of information? ...And in other news, FB now runs CalTrans.

There's a feature where you can get your own FB URL (they call it a Username) so that your account becomes
www.Facebook.com/Username
without all the php mumbo jumbo.
I'm trying to grab usernames for biz pages and FB shows them as available, but when it comes time to confirming them the popup stays in an endless "Loading" screen without any finality or genuine confirmation of grabbing the names. FB's extensive use of Javascript / AJAX / (insert language here) is such a pain in the ass sometimes.
Even changing between Macs, Windoze , Firefox, Internet Exploder, Safari and running them with extensions and CaptiveX off doesn't make any difference.
Needless to say, as in the gold rush of grabbing web domains in the early days of the internet, this too has importance in timeliness.

Now THAT would be a new low in efforts at closing the state budget gap:
"This important multi-car accident road condition report is sponsored by Allstate Insurance. You're in good hands while your eyeballs are up here."

how do you think i met my wife?
You stalked her, got photos of her with which to blackmail her, and coerced her into a loveless union?
