Donating half to a charity? Very humble of you....... [roll]

Maybe I'm wrong or a cynic, but he is kidding.

Isn't he?
I like a drink. You know when people say 'I like a drink as much as the next man'? Not if I'm the next man, you don't.

I am surprised you didn't bring up his user name...

Again- very humble.
Mad, bad, and dangerous to know.

all I can say is....maybe he was taking a lot pf prescription and non prescription pharmaceuticals mixed with some off the grid stuff to give him that alternate perception to come to that pricing....

hey, if one of the bikes made it in Iron Man, he can't be doing too bad.  ???

stopintime

Wasn't the phrase _there's always an even bigger fool_ invented in America?

Some people are so full of themselves, money and/or drugs that it might seem right to "invest" in these sisters [roll]

Not likely, but not impossible either....

This cat posted up on the MH900e list (which I administer) and bragged about how he has the lowest mileage pair of MHe's in the US, and how he was going to help out all of us lowly MHe owners by driving up resale prices singlehandedly with his $500k each offer.  He was politely scoffed there, too.

The saying, stopintime, generally attributed to P.T. Barnum but actually spoken by David Hannum is "There's a Sucker born every minute".  It seems accurately applied to the poor fool who would lay out $1MM for a pair of MH900e.  He should be able to buy more than 50 of them for that sum!  Low mileage (under 10 miles...factory mileage only, in other words) examples generally sell for less than $20,000 each, and riders sell for between $10,000 and $15,000 each.

I won't hold my breath waiting for someone to offer even 10% of what he's asking for these two bikes.

Well, I think we've pretty much covered it, but here is the auction where he bought number 1740 for $15,500 (I counted the zeroes twice) back in September.

That's absurd!  Even his website screams d-bag.  It's full of pictures that aren't of his bikes.  One of the MH pictures shows Japanese plates.

Those bikes have never done anything for me. I prefer my '82 Hailwood Rep over any of those bikes. That guy is a fool. [thumbsdown]
