I love Edwards. I'd love to spend an afternoon with him shooting guns, then talk bikes and racing over a few cold beers. You know it would be a hoot! waytogo chug laughingdp

I liked this Q&A...

Q How do you feel about World Superbike with no Ducati in it?

A I'm not real sure about that. Not real sure if that's ... I don't know, man. You got everybody who's ... Nobody has any money. It sucks. Nobody has any money. It's crazy. And at the same time, when you've got known ... You've got good riders, let's say, offering to come ride MotoGP basically for free. Which is f*cking retarded, to put it bluntly.

I wonder how he really feels? Grin

I liked this quote alot from him....

"...I think it should all be in the wrist, I agree with it. I would never say that my time on something like the Aprilia was a waste—I learned a lot that year—and for everybody out there reading this, you learn so much more on an inferior motorcycle than you would spending a lot of money on the latest and greatest motorcycle with the best suspension and trick parts....

edwards from teh interviews is not nearly as personable as someone like hayden, spies, rossi, he just comes off as sour grapes for sucking so bad.

all the riders saying that they want no electronics, watch, they take that stuff away the racing will get boring real quick and you will see that some of the riders now that say no electronics, get them on a crappy bike and suddenly they will be complaining about no electronics, at that level you need electronics to harness all that power they are now putting out.

i personally don't want them to go back to the stone ages without electronics and developing things on bikes. i can watch nascar for that.   this is motogp not nascar with still chevy v-8 and carberators for petes sake.

i think that's the point. put 'em all on flexi-noodle chassis with 3x too much power and shitty tires and let the best rider win, not the team with the best technogeeks on the squad.

This raises an interesting question . . . which racers would you most like to have a beer (or twelve) with?  CE2 is high on my list, along with Rossi.  And prolly Bayliss & Xaus.  Mebbe Shakey.
