Installed Termi System on 696 last night

My original plan was to wait till my 600mi service and have the dealer put my Termi system on my 09 696, but after spending a good portion of the day yesterday reading the forums here about it, I decided, "why wait?"   ;D  So, it took me a little bit of time, but loved every minute of it.  ECU, Air Filter and CF termis are on, sound GREAT and a quick trip around the block seems to indicate everything is good!  Wish it was warmer and no snow so I could really go test it out.

I just wanted to double check here to be sure there's nothing else I need to do.  I cycled the key 3x to reset TPS, I've set it back to USA from defaulting to EU.   Anything else?  Does dealer need to do any dyno tuning?

thanks!

You've missed 3 critical steps. Which could have some critical fallout.

1: Warn neighbours.

2: Remove baffles/DBKillers

3. Apologise to neighbours.

Fair Enough... some quick pics:  OH, and Justo, I forgot to mention it, but the db killers were removed also... I did however, neglect to warn or apologize to my neighbors.  :)

I wouldn't warn my neighbors, that is just me.  Hell I live in the back of an apartment complex with my open Termi's.  I get to ride past at least half the buildings every time I leave.  [evil]  Although if it is before or after 9 I do try to keep the RPM's low.  :D

Congrats!

Never get tired of that sound. Sweet Jesus.

Funny you know I've never seen one with the termi stickers removed. I left mine on. They are such an obvious recognisable pipe I suppose u don't really need the sticker anyway. Glad the baffles are out.

You say you live in a complex. A little favourite of mine is to ride through enclosed carparks of shopping centres and see how many caged alarms I set off.  [evil]

I was thinking the same thing.  I didn't realize the Termis mounted higher than the stock pipes.

They do sound awesome.

Yeah, I know it.  They actually look slightly worse here in the photos than they do standing behind the bike in person, but still they are at the very least, partially blocked.  I really like the pipes up high, but may have to try the lower position or I don't know what else.   Maybe different indicators?

I reversed the mounting brackets for the indicators, it brings them closer to the number plate and makes them (slightly) more visible.

I did not have any bolts that would fit so I cable tied them on.  Had them for around 2 years without an issue.
