I bought an '07 S2R 1000 with 8600 miles . All service up to date , full Termi , Sargent seat , clutch cover , good tires , etc . Very clean condition and paid $6000 . I'd like to think I did O.K. .

If you're happy with it, that's all that matters. Sounds like more than a fair price to me  [thumbsup]

It wasn't crack head cheap, but it sounds like you got a good deal.

Got a good bike?  Are you happy?  If the answer to those questions are yes you got a good deal.  after a few years and (s)miles don the road a few hundred either way will make no difference.

You got ripped off, it's a piece of crap. I'll pick it up and haul it away for $100.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

After your purchase is not the time to evaluate the quality of the deal.
