Hero mistake...."loose" instead of "lose".  Of course, if the reflectors are loose they may fall off on their own.

Los angeles traffic sucks, I feel like i should leave them on as i commute at night very often
you actually can get reflective colored tape that is less obvious but more reflective

i should note that the bike also has a nichols billet rear brake caliper bracket (redirects it to the top from the bottom on my year bike, making bleeding about.... 200% easier)
