So who's going to the show next weekend?

Maybe try to meet up with other board members.

My plan is is either Saturday or Sunday, but if I have to go to my office in Santa Fe Springs on Friday, I'll head over there in the evening.

Cool.  Looks like I'll be going on Friday night, so that will be something to look for.

I was there at 4 myself.  Sorry, I forgot to wear my traffic cone hat with the DMF logo.

I ran into a former co-worker (and current owner of 1098S and K1200S) that I hadn't seen in more than 10 years.  Made the show for me.  As for the Diavel:  Huh?

I really like the new Ninja 1000, but I wish it had the exhaust that Honda put on the CB1000R.  Or that Honda had used nicer wheels on the CB1000R.

A couple of other highlights:

SR500 Cafe Racer

Honda RS Scrambler by Cobra

Click the thumbnails for large versions.

This lonely duc was parked outside Rockbottom where I got wobbled before the show.

Team No Limits bikes, I'm pretty sure.

Off to the Ducati area to saddle test the Diavel

And a "fashion" show...

Some random bikes

Roland Sands Turbo Charged Victory

CBR250R and CB1000R

It's too bad they weren't doing the demos, but they were selling joe rocket helmets for $50.

The Honda RS scrambler was hawt. Shades of the Hawk Scrambler. The bike of the show for me was the customized Streetfighter. What a sweet ride. I forgot to bring my camera, which is pretty weird for me, so no pics.  Undecided   It was good to see that Triumph sprang for the bread to have a booth there. Gerald was supposed to be up there, but did not see him!
