January 29 - Oakland Stadium

I haven't been to the stadium since Day on the green back in the 80's but it seemed like a good stadium then.
Anyone been there lately?

So given my new locale I'm either going to Oakland or up to Seattle later in April for Supercross. My guess is that the wife would rather go to Seattle, she's not a big Oakland fan.

I'd do Seattle if I had the choice.  As it is I live about 20 minutes away from the Colosseum so unless they're roughin' up all the white chicks that go through the gates, that's where I go.

I figured you were.  laughingdp

No actually I just made reservations for Seattle but who knows I might catch Oakland too.

I figure its a better Idea to take the train to the Staduim than drive a decent car there. I don't currently own any beaters that I would feel good about leaving in the parking lot.

I take is Aces is more classy than the Geist?

Why would you have this on the night of Supercross anyway?

Not sure I'd use the word classy to describe Ace. Indoor maybe, but not classy.
