It's like I keep saying:  Those who would sacrifice a free range session for a giant beer, deserve neither free range time nor a giant beer.

if nothing else, he reinforces the notion that, if you apply yourself, you can be a billionaire six-times over by the age of 26.

In principle, that's great. But rarely does anyone donate that kind of money without gaining something in return. There's money to be made from his massive donation. I know that sounds cynical, but it's true. It's probably a means of getting more Facebook recognition from an even younger generation.

I don't use it, don't understand it's draw, other than vanity.  Seems that the privacy concerns are moot.  If you are so concerned about privacy, don't use Facebook.  I also don't understand it's business model.  How does Facebook currently bring in revenue?  The 60 MINUTES interviewer said the company was worth about 40 billion.  Where are the earnings?

Companies are always looking for relationships, and facebook has that data.  Me and Jim and 50 thousand both like the Packers, and Briar Creek Beer - maybe we should do a marketing campaign together - etc etc.  Companies are buying that information today, so with 500 million users, it is better than any survey or census you could put together.  Also they can see 2nd and 3rd orders of relationships not just 1st.  I believe the 40b worth, but I don't believe it will be around for 5 years.  Look at MySpace and Friendster...  There is room for improvement.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
