FYI - he missed everyone he shot at.

He gave those people the best Christmas they will have in their entire lives.  Think about how happy they are to be alive!  The shooter was a regular Saint Nick... a martyr even!

One female member of the board attempts to disarm him prior to the footage Dave linked to. Also the link above has some more of the talking. Gotta give the Superintendent some credit, he keeps pretty damn cool in the face of the guy with the gun.  Super sure had some luck on his side, not to get hit from that first shot - looks initially like he'd got it dead center.

The one thing that might have been a bit inflamatory and a "no-no" was calling the guy out on the fact that he wanted to die; it was right after that when the shooter opened fire!
