Tron Legacy is a great Ducati movie.

There's a fun, little chase scene with his Ducati GT1000 Sport Classic. And you also see the dad's vintage Ducati Sport parked outside in a flashback scene.

Anyway, it's a fun movie (although, don't expect a fantastic plot). I saw it at the midnight showing with some friends.

Good times.

I re-watched the original recently so the story and connections would be fresh in my mind. I had forgotten that Clu who we all know from the trailers is the young Flynn in the new movie, was a character in the start of the original movie - a program written by Flynn who appearantly was de-rezzed but it was vague enough that he may not have been terminated.

I can't wait to see the new movie - please don't post any early spoilers!

end of line.

I'll be watching tonight in 3D IMAX. I've read mised reviews, but the original didn't have a complex plot, so I'm not expecting much on that front.

I'm going on Christmas day to the theater with D~box seats. Can't wait. Those added effects should keep me awake.

It's also parked in Sams apartment off to side. You see it for just a moment - and it gets a mention later on in the film.

Saw it this afternoon. Not the thickest plot one has ever conceived, but the visuals take a piss on Pandora for me.

After wrecking mine I thought about just wheeling into my new house and have it just sit there in the living room against the wall, though I never put that plan into action.

I will however possibly make a coffee table out of the trellis frame with an oval piece of beveled glass on top.  I think the last thing anyone will want to buy from a bike being parted out would be a frame from a totaled bike.

On topic though I also saw Tron at the Samuel Goldwyn Academy theater Thursday night.  Very entertaining, amazing theater too.

well he does have the coolest bachelor pad that makes it easy to park the bike in the living room.. you will know when you see the film afterall he is a milionaire.

and of course if a motorcycle is in a movie it WILL BE a ducati as all movies have to have a ducati as the obligatory motorcycle in movies today.

Half the movie was an extended Ducati commercial. I went in there with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! Cool movie! How many people did you guys see wearing light suits?

LOL ... when we went there were a few guys in home-made light jackets, and one girl in a very short dress.

Three of the guys in jackets sat behind us, and they were pretty cool guys. They just had black jackets with that EL wire up and around a few times to look like something out of the movie.

I loved the subtle references to the origional...like the name of the place with his pad was "DUMONT" salvage....

Thanks for the "heads up" about the Ducati content, I wouldn't have gone otherwise.

Epic day, first day of winter, rode my '97 Monster to the nearest theater showing Tron:Legacy in 3D.  Took the scenic route, 45 minutes there.

Fun flick, Ducatis, hot chicks, stuff blowing up, hot chick on a Ducati.....awesome.

Rode home in late afternoon sun, geese flying overhead, sun setting on horizon, hour ride home.....perfect.
