I was just wondering (partly because of the tank problems), did anybody ever actually manage to put this radical ducati tank on a monster? I did a search and I saw that some people were thinking about it, but never saw an actual monster with an installed tank. I know that this was not designed for the monster frame (I am talking about the old style full trellis now of course), but I was wondering if the tank and the frame can be modified to fit. The result would be stunning probably, as all radical ducatis are.

yep, but I wouldn't want to modify the part behind the tank. I am ok with my seat and cowl; I only would want to fit the tank...

Stupid question but have you guys watched the show Cafe Racers?

I was talking to my boss about it and he said he loves the show. I don't watch TV so I haven't got to see it yet.

Yup - cool show.  Makes want a cafe-racer every time I see it.  At the end of every other show they get the Bostrom brothers to ride the bikes and give their input.  On the last show Eric crashed one of the bikes as the front wheel locked up on him.

that's news all right! this sounds great. what's the plan with the tank you are getting? is it like the one on the first picture? do you want to fit it on a monster after some modifications maybe? (just to push my original question...)
