Snapping Like a Squirrel

« on: December 21, 2010, 05:31:17 PM »

Saw this today while thumbing around on Amazon.  Dosen't come out till July 2011, but they are taking pre-orders.  Looks like it could be a pretty decent addition to the coffee table or bookshelf.

I ordered one last christmas, was expecting it last month.  Just received an email from amazon that they are trying to locate a copy for me.  They must be waiting for 10,000 orders or something before they print a run.  I would be frustrated, but knowing what it is like waiting for ducati stuff, I have grown a lot of patience.  There's pretty much no way that I've found to actually contact a live person to find out what's going on.  On the account manager, it just gives you the option to cancel the order.  Anyone else have the same experience?

From the review:

And I have to say, the original Monsters are meaner, leaner and cooler looking than latest iteration, which appears to me to be a bit like a smiley-face Dove bar eating, Starbucks-drinking iPhone version of the original Monstah.

Yeah but it's cheaper on Amazon UK.  £18.39 compared to £30 from the publisher.

Cool, that works. I didn't see that they had it available.
