vic what was he wearing,  i had on a black jacket /black camo pants with an icon helmet (silver/black/flames) with a silver reflective face shield.

That sounds like it.  I didn't get a good look at the pipes, so I could be wrong on the high mounts.  Besides, how many UPS trucks can there be at that intersection? Grin

Well last friday I spotted what seemed to be a female riding a Dark monster none S*R in downtown P town in the afternoon.

(Salty, I was getting ready to take a stab at how feminine you look)  Cheesy

Wonder who it was.

Fun ride today with Ryan.

Stopped at the McMenamins Grand Lodge in Forest grove for a rest.  1st time there for me - very cool place.

Bazillions of bikes out today.

Hey JohnnyD, was that you I saw on 205 northbound around 10am?  Red/white stripe Monster S4R or S4Rs, rider wearing a red/white/black Ducati jacket.  Followed us for a bit, passed, then peeled off onto I-84 West.  I was riding the red SS, followed by my bro on his scorched yellow Triumph 675.  If that wasn't you, then you have a copycat riding around.  Wink  Saw the Monster rider give a low wave when pulling in front... I waved back, but dunno if you/the rider was looking in the mirror at the moment.

Also spotted a black Multistrada riding alone out by McIver State Park near Estacada.

I think those are the first Ducs I've seen out in the wild this season.

Time of day is pretty close, and I did head up that way.  I vaguely remember seeing the yellow Trump.  Didn't you merge onto 205 from Foster or was it Powell?

I'm sorry I didn't recognize your SS (I love those btw) so I must have been paying attention to traffic instead.

I would have ridden along, but, er, um, you know, that damned Testatretta has that sticky open trhottle problem Grin.

Hope you had a good day riding.

The ride from Banks to Vernonia.... like 1 leo per mile... total saturation patrol on that stretch... then leaving Vernonia we had one tail us the 7 miles till the turn off. Did not see anybody pulled over, but they were really out in force to keep us reasonably safe.   Police

Close... we came around the cloverleaf at Johnson Creek.  All I remember seeing when I went to clear traffic & merge was a whole passel of motorcycles filling the rearview mirror.  Not surprised you saw the yellow Trumpy but not the SS, the staggered formation Dave and I were riding in meant I would have been obscured until you were nearly alongside.

I would have ridden along, but, er, um, you know, that damned Testatretta has that sticky open trhottle problem Grin.

I totally understand.  Mine has a related problem... periodically when exiting a particularly sweet corner, that Supersport just seems to get a little overexuberant and linger on WOT a little longer than is prudent.  Evil

Thankfully for the little group I was with on Sunday, Clackamas County Sheriffs' officers seemed to be preoccupied with patrolling areas other than rural Clackamas County.  Grin
