At the end of the clip, those really look like the GP-style pipes to me (cylindrical/round). The ovals are usually a few inches longer.

True. (round-oval  ) The sound will be the same, give or take a decibel.

Recommend Titanium, regardless of brand.  Barring any scuffs and scratches, the finish will never degrade or oxidize, unlike aluminum or carbon fiber, and Ti is lighter than Inox (stainless steel).

CF will holds it's own, properly cared for. Much deeper bass, and Ti would not flow with my bike.

I love seeing clips of the old 620 at full song, shame i never got a decent clip of it on the track. Then it had some sound. 

And I've said it before and I'll say it again.

CF will holds it's own, properly cared for. Much deeper bass, and Ti would not flow with my bike.  

That is a gorgeous bike indeed. You must have an older MIVV. The new carbon fiber pipes are coated with a satin resin that isn't as shiny. We clean ours with WD-40, and after four years, they still look great.

Also, you were able to remove the badge with the logo. MIVV now rivets them on, but they redesigned them a couple of years ago so they're not so big and obnoxious.
