Count me     >>> "IN" <<<

I would also be "in" for the Townhomes or whatever works for the group.  Hanging out there was great fun last year.  I never thought that we could get 13 Ducatis in one small garage!

Just put me anywhere that Karl and Pam are staying!!!!!!  ....In fact, now that I think about it, the whole darn group was simply outstanding!      applause      I'd be happy to spend a whole week with them riding, eating, drinking, sleeping, and ...repeating.......

By the way, the "Rain Rescue Truck" will again be available for hauling bodies from the "Dirty Bar" for those who are not already sleeping on the floor of that fine establishment.....

Does anyone want color route maps and road suggestions again this year?  ....I'll probably go a few days early and scout the territory and road conditions.  Last year that was giggle producing fun too.   [moto]

Back on topic.

Re: Ouray lodging.

I know there has been a lot of discussion and/or drama over the last couple years regarding the hotel for DiTR.

Here's the deal.

The point of the gathering in Ouray, is just that.  A gathering.  A group of like minded people who love their Ducatis who get together each year to hang out, ride, shoot the shit, ride, drink, eat, bench race, have fun, drink, etc.

It makes it much easier to negotiate for a lower rate if all or most attendees stay at the same place.

That being said, there are really two hotels in town that can accommodate a group of our size with suitable and safe parking - Best Western Twin Peaks and Hot Springs Inn (both have their plusses and minuses)

Unless anyone has a better suggestion for a "base camp hotel", please let myself, Rev. Millertime, Titty or Mojo know.

C'mon, Randimus, NOTHING says TOGETHERNESS more than 38 people sharing a one bedroom condo.  Kiss

Besides, it just would not be DiTR without the annual e-fistacuffs over lodging.  Roll Eyes

Y'all have fun this year.  waytogo [moto] drink bacon

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
