I feel like an idiot for even asking, but my search didn't turn up much.

How are folks mounting stands (Pitbull, etc) to a SSS Monster?  I have seen the rear sliders online that second as a stand mount, but I assume there is another way?  I know alot of the folks around here do not like sliders, but still use a stand.

Is something like this the only option?

Thanks!

Ah ha!

If I did opt to install rear axle sliders, would I need a different stand?

Thanks!

You can use a dual-sided stand with some sliders (I have the Motovationusa.com sliders that allow stand use), or you can remove the sliders and use a single-sided stand.

on a single sided swingarm i've only seen the single sided stands used on them that fit into the axle hole, i have one for my mv that has a sss and it works perfectly i have the reversible one so that you can on the left side of the bike hold the handle and the handlebar in one motion to lift hte rear it works very well by pitbull.

S4Rs In Michigan

« Reply #5 on: January 06, 2011, 03:29:45 PM »

I bought a set of these off Espray, took a chance and was surprised at the quality.  "Very" well made for half of the usual.  Of course I had allready bought a stand from T-Rex which goes through the axle before they come out with these.  So now I am going to buy a stand to fit these for convenience.  PM me if anyone wants to buy the through axle stand that I have for a large discount.  Do a search on Espray for T-rex products.   S4Rs 07
