congrats joel and family.  Doesn't that make your boys uncles?  that's even more weird.

on the name, yes you can usually pick your own.  my dad is "grand dad" because he thought 'grandpa' sounded too old when he was first leveled up.  But when the kid decides on something else, you're kind of stuck.
