I reached Grandpa status last night.

Parker Laurie Kammeraad was born last night

6 lbs 9 oz





Let the spoiling begin ;D
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project. 

So I went solo.  -Me

Congrats....let the subversion begin!!

My daughter is feeding my grandson nothing but organic/no-low sugar healthy stuff

I can't wait until he is old enough for me to sneak him out to White Castle for some sliders and a large Coke


Payback's a pregnant dog for all those teen years of hers that I endured

how does the whole grandpa name thing work. Do I get to pick the name..... or does the kid?

You can try to work that....I am still trying to get mine to address me as "Glorious and Radiant Benefactor"...but he's only 1 and has trouble with the word thing still

I think you get to choose your own. My grandparents did and my folks did with my kids, so have at it.
And congrats on becoming a level 1 Grandfather. [clap]

As to the name thing - my daughter initially called my dad, pop-pop, now she calls him either pop-pop or grandpa...it goes back and forth.

and I always called my Dad's dad Grandpa and my Mom's dad was Pop Pop...
