Rear Brake Clevis (length?) - Discacciati Master Cylinder
«

I have a Discacciati rear brake master cylinder that I am interested in using. My only issue is the rod that pushes the piston is 'fixed' (though it can rotate). I have a problem in that if I attach it to the rear brake pedal, then the pedal is way out of position because the rod and thereby the clevis are out of position - the rod is too short.
Anybody have a solution? Looks like a long clevis would do it. Don't know where you get one of those. The clevis shown in the pictures is a Ti one, not from Discacciati (its a direct ducati part replacement from TPO).
The Brembo master cylinder shown for reference is from a superbike. It is correct in all measurements.
Here are pics that better describe the problem:

Can you modify the pedal - new hole?

I'd have to modify all the track spares I have too.

Wait, that won't work anyways - there is no material where the hole 'needs' to be as it currently sits.

A length of threaded rod and a giant nut to attach it to the existing part?

i had to do this on my bike.
get a long enough regular metric allen bolt to thread into the clevis. i think it's m5x1.0. cut the head of it off and grind it down to a cone-like shape like the factory ducati one. cost about $2. unless you use and aluminum or Ti bolt.
opps. read that the fancy one is fixed. the threaded sleeve method would work. tired that way too. little bit heavier, but your limited.

indeed. I'm trying to figure out which other motorcycle company uses same thread rod for clevis but different length clevis.
Dirt bike parts, no joke, may be worth a gamble - if I can get somebody on the phone to ask them about it.
Apparently some are longer than others (TWSS)
