A lot of members in my car club have used this stuffon their cars.

Just wondering what are thoughts/experiences with Plastidip. How well does it hold up?

I am thinking of doing my rearsets, exhaust hangers, forks ands some other bits rather than permanently PC them.

Thanks

I have no experience but would love to know how it works out if you try it.

It will not hold up, unfortunately. Especially with rearsets, your boots will wear through it in no time. It's better to permanently powdercoat those pieces. You should probably hard anodize or vinyl wrap the fork legs in lieu of powdercoat. First choice would be hard ano but that requires complete disassembly and then there's the expense of getting quality ano work done. Vinyl wrap can be accomplished in situ without even removing the forks, and I would imagine holds up acceptably. It's cheap as well.
But the PlastiDip, umm no.

^^^ agreed.  Plastidip definitely has its place in the world, but not on high wear bike parts.

Plastidip works well on drum sticks, but not on a bike.
