 . . . . that isnt even out yet.

I purchased a Black 1100 EVO. My Duc rep told me only one black one was gonna be available for this year from my dealer so I bit the bullet and got it. I think this is such a great monster for a HELLLL of a price with everything Duc is offering with the bike.

So excited to get it sometime in April.

Anyone else gonna get it?

Congrats!! It's gonna be one hell of a long wait until April. That would keep me up at night just counting off the days! [thumbsup] [moto]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Thats the thing. No one offers anything for this beast yet. No exhausts yet? NOTHING? And I am nottttt getting that overpriced shitty sounding exhaust they call Termignoni. I hate the sound of em.

It will be interesting to see if a lot of the current full systems will work on the new Evo, which I think they will. We shall see.

The april wait would be much easier if you were snowed in this time of year. Congrats, and good luck with the waiting.

You may have to buy Da Toymies to keep your warranty kosher. That's the beauty of having an older bike. No warranty no problem. You can do whatever you want with a bike that's past it's warranty. With that new Monster you're stuck with Termignoni if you wish to correct the lean fueling and preserve your warranty at the same time. Termignoni® - Performance Held For Ransom.
You can always buy the Termi kit, use the freeflow air filter & ECU then dump the cans on some fanboy; there are plenty of them out there whom have drunk the kool-aid and will buy the cans from you at pretty much whatever you ask. I sold mine to a guy who knew full well they didn't fit his bike but he was so brainwashed he bought them anyway at my price! And about ten others lined up behind him. I wish I had more to sell! Easier than selling bottled water in the desert.
Then, buy some cans that look & work better but cost less. Make some money on it. But whatever you do, do not remove those ridiculous cartoon stickers they put on their mufflers. Those are key. The fans seem to think they add a couple HP.

i don't know termi does make some nice exhausts.  you may not like the price but  i haven't had any issues with the quality of them ever, maybe someothers have but its like anything else you name another brand and i'm sure you will get equally bad an good reviews be they arrow, 2brothers, mivv, etc.

good luck with the new bike and enjoy it.

I'm hoping I will pick one up later in the year. In red.

Hi Guys, just joined the forum. Not a Ducati owner yet....but seriously considering it.

Got a couple questions for you and hope you can help me make my mind up.

I always had Japanese sport bikes, my last one was a CBR 600RR.  However that was 10 years ago.  After a long wait I am ready to get a motorcycle again and was considering the Honda CBR 1000 RR  until I saw a Monster for the first time and I now can't stop looking at pictures of them.  Always wanted but never had access to Ducatis since they use to be sooo expensive.....now it seems like the price drop and they are more accessible (at least the Monster).

Money is not my greatest concern, there are only $2K difference between the 796 ABS ($10K) and the 1100 EVO ($12K).  Which bike should I go for?  It seems like the only differences between them are:
1) 10 more HP,
2) New colors (like the red w/ white stripe),
3) Traction Control.

Other than those, it all seem to be the same.  Or I am wrong?

Any way, please help me decide whether or not I should wait until May and buy a 110 EVO or I should just go to the store and get a 796 now.
Also, is there any advantages of pre-ordering? And if you already ordered one, how much did you get it for?

Thank you for your feedback!
