After searching around this morning, it's more than obvious to me why this site is by far my favorite out of all the ducati sites.

Here you've got real-world tech experience,  people will actually speak up to questions.  We've got a track forum, "kitchen sink" forum, classifieds, blah blah....but it isn't one of these that make it awesome.....it's the people here.  We've got a slew of guys who race, some of the best custom builders in the country, hacks and monkeys (like me!), and on and on and on.

Just looking at some other forums this morning made my eyes roll on more than one occasion....I mean we are all passionate about motorcycling, that is obvious....but it seems like the group here are RIDERS, not poser fanboys who sit around all day/night discussing where to put the new "Rossi button" on the new 1198 corsa R they bought last year but have yet to even ride, let alone knock the nubs off the tires.

Thanks for being the DMF.  I'm glad to be a part of this place  waytogo

I feel the same way and have since this group was on the old board.  It *really* is just the people here.  Some of our most prolific posters and most knowledgable people don't even own a Monster and it doesn't matter.  Some members here don't own an Italian motorcycle and it doesn't matter.

Totally agree TAftonomos... waytogo

I like how the members of this forum have put together two different, annual, rider-based "ducati rallies".  You know, for the meeting of other people and whatnot.
