I really hope to go on the next Arkansas trip. The roads I've been on are no comparison to TX or Okie roads, surface quality-wise. Nice and smooth and really twisty when you're in the "mountains".

Riding back home from work today was great!  I only caught one light sprinkle and my air temp readings were no higher that 86*.  I forgot how nice temps in the 80s can be!

I always thought it would be kinda cool to have a car that would spit fire when you shifted down a gear... kinda the whole race car effect...  That is until I saw this:

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

how about US Soccer?  after the Dutch coach publicly badmouthed the US, we spanked him all over the field.  if it had not been for the last minute foul and penalty shot, it would have been a stellar win, as it is, the tie ought to be humiliating enough for them Wink

as it is, if we tie or beat Nigeria, we wander into the semifinals....  so far the semifinals have brazil, italy, and argentina...  that would be good company to be in!!!  it would be nice to see us beat Italy, after the world cup match where we outplayed them but did not secure the win...

Yeah that was awesome. The dude on the rings, missed the soccer. Hell, it hurt my neck and shoulders just to watch it but I had to. Just incredible!

Speaking of flaming exhaust. Remember how the factory R1s of Haga and company in World SBK would belch fire on decel going into turns last year? Don't see that this year at all. Wonder why? Looked really cool... as I am sure the RX7 owner would agree!

And speaking of belching fire, this dumbass while reprogramming his thermostat to save money while on vacation (won't catch me saving any $$ again!) didn't flip the switch back to "run" and left it on "reset" so the AC NEVER ran for the entire week. Translation: the house was about 92 when we got home and any $$ savings were shot since the AC ran for like 20 hours straight. Oooh, wait, here's the painful part... the TIVO overheated and shut down so none of the Brands Hatch World SBK races were recorded!! Now that's painful! Tongue Someone please tell me it was a boring race not worth watching. bang head
