I do not get it    If that is the type of forum you want, then why not check out the Ohio board.  There is ZERO posting going on there.  Why try to destroy this board when that one is already prepared to you liking?

My views regarding the importance of the social content here are well known and I do not feel the need to rehash that here. 

I honestly do not know what you and Cher want.  I will say that I do not respect how you are going about it.

I hate to pull the Rodney King card here, but "cant we all get along?"  I understand both sides of the issue, and all I want to say is that I wish this forum would just go back to the way it was.  Except, I do think we can cut out some of the locker room type posting.  I also have to remember that my kids are looking over my shoulders sometimes wanting to know what has my attention, or what is going on with this awesome group of people that they see as best friends when we all meet up.  I think that posting a pic of Valentino Rossi on the paddock with 2 umbrella girls is ok, but maybe I should have left the boobie emoticons off the forum.  I'm sorry that I get a little carried away sometimes and don't think about all the people that will be reading this forum.  I mean, if you think about it, there is no warning when you log in that this is not safe for work and children.  I am one of the guilty who have posted things and went back and deleted them.  It doesn't bother me to have to delete some posts.  I only delete them because I come to the realization that I should have never posted it in the first place.  I'm not asking anyone to post less, or post more, I'm just saying that as for me, I will think about some of my posts a little more carefully.  I love everyone on this forum, I love riding with you all, I love meeting with you all, and I love hearing about was is going on in your minds......  That being said, lets ride!  Sunday is a perfect chance for everyone to meet, greet, and ride!

Slag, listen man, your a good person, I like you and all that but this combative, divisive crap has got to stop.

When we joined this forum, you, and me, and everyone else here, agreed to follow forum guidelines.  It was pretty straight forward stuff, typical rules-of-the-road kind of things.  Simple courtesy, respect for others, blah, blah.

By becoming a DMF member, we've agreed to post our observations/thoughts within the rules framework, yet you and an increasing number of people, have decided to consistently push the envelop, push as far as you can every single day until someone, very predictably, gets so pissed off with all the crap, miscellaneous Mods parachute in in full riot gear threatening suspensions and bans. 

So don't even think about taking the high ground with me on this one Slag; you're on the losing side of the rules.

Now that is an awesome post. Yes, you are my friends. And yes, really obnoxious behavior would not be missed. Lots of folks feel that way, like Zach I state my feelings, others don't. That's why I like and respect him. He has earned the right to bust my chops on the board and world wide web due to those feelings. We may irritate folks but he (and I) try to be open and honest. And yes I also don't want the board to be an old board ghost town. All I did was ask a rhetorical question that no one seems to be able to answer and yes, the founders/administrators are looking at "the problem with the DFWM board"... their words not mine. We are being watched due to the antics. And no it wasn't because of me! But they have PM'd me about it.

I am not trying to be an ignoramus... OK, maybe I am one but I try not to be. I am also not trying to be a total buzzkill. But look at the threads and posts with a honest open mind. I post the exact same way on the main board as I do here. I do not post threads with titles like "fuchingmake the beast with two backsitymake the beast with two backsmake the beast with two backsmake the beast with two backs" like they tend to do over there.  I do not post NSFW images or videos, like they have in No Moto Content right now.  The only time that I am aware of that mods "parachute in in full riot gear threatening suspensions and bans" was about POLITICS!!!  Read my posts.  I have done my best to stay away from posting political BS.  That was my problem with L' Avatars last two deleted threads.  We are not trying to push any envelope here.  We are having a good time, that is it.  You complained about posting the word boobies.  Have you read any of the polls around here?  Boobies is almost always the winning choice.

When a new member posted inappropriate pics in his first few days on the board, I was the first to contact him and warn him about it.  Why did you not throw a fit when a pic was posted of a gentleman with a traffic cone in his ass?  The only negative posted about that was from fastwin with a set of rolling eyes and a comment about 'where are mods when you need them.'

There is following the letter of the law, and the spirit of the law.  I read this entire board (well, not the monster women section,) and the spirit of the law is what appears to be followed (except for politics/porn, etc.)  Almost every single active member would be toast if this place were ruled with an iron fist.  Even you.  I never asked for my personal info to be posted up.  YOU POSTED ALL OF THE NAMES UP FIRST, AND THEN ASKED IF ANYONE WANTED THEIR NAME REMOVED.  I could be hiding from an abusive ex-wife for all you know.

I'm going to make a suggestion here.  Take this offline and have dinner, lunch or whatever you'd like to discuss this.  We will all lose here.  I wish no one to get banned, this forum is definately a riot for me and sometimes I too fall into the trap (ie. BS).  For my part I do apologize and will do better like Tommy mentioned. 

Please guys, I've seen places crash and burn.  We have too much of a diverse group here to throw away.  There will always be dissent among the ranks when the group grows large or too diverse; for me though this is what makes this place great.

It might behoove you to STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER. This crap is obviously bugging you on an epic scale if you're willing to spend so much time making a case about it. Life's too short man. Find the stuff that makes you happy, not angry. You have to find the good stuff, it's not going to come to you.

I think most people come to this local board for a sense of community and prefer it when we can "all just get along". I feel like your posts and arguments lately do nothing to further that attitude.
