Galapagos flightless birds? Cool
Sure they're cute and cuddly on the outside but they've got special little personalitites on the inside too.

Theyre not cheap, but they're fun to play with

Just buy Jordan's - its been Jordan maintained and has no damage (unlike that one). (Note, Jordan is selling his)
Not sure what he's going to replace it with, but I know Marty is selling his R for the new Multistrada! So, round up your pennies.

Actually, this is more in my price range, especially once I factor in the $2.50 I'll get in trade for the Guzzi:

Has anyone had any dealings with Southwest Superbikes?

I've been over there a few times. You get the vibe that a bike you purchase there has been only ridden down the freeway at high, high speed. Straight lines only. I'd probably take anything purchased there to a dealership for a thorough check up. They just don't have the facilities or appropriate background for the bikes they sell.
That said, prices are good. They are pretty friendly. Its just a different 'animal' as far as shops go.
Then again, even ol' Al Lamb's Honda is a crapshoot. Parts counter guys seem to be cool. One salesman tries to upsale 1st time riders to a CBR1000RR, because its got "good pricing", but really couldn't tell you all that much more about Honda racing, track stuff, why the CBR is good, etc. (Note, my 2d fav manufacturer is Honda - from dirtbiking as a youth, so this was disappointing - the shop in North Mississippi is incredible.)

I went there once several years ago to actually look at a Monster that Billy was thinking about. I got the feeling that I was being told whatever they thought I wanted to hear. The words jive bullshit came to mind. They might be great honest folks but I walked away with a different opinion. They have been there for a fairly long time so something is keeping the doors open.

Have a good lunch at Smoke. I may ride to Back Nine
on Beltway about 8. Also, Rocky Patel is at the
smoke shop on Beltway & Midway Thurs.
Off to work

Is that the Cigar Shop & More on BeltLINE at Midway? What time is the Rocky Patel thing? I could be over there after work about 7:00 PM Thursday.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
