Traded the Guzzi in on a new Triumph Speedmaster (900cc cruiser); twin cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injected, 5 speed:

Mine is all black, metal flake with silver and light blue specs... kinda like a 1970's Glastron boat Cool  5.1 gallon tank, runs on 87 octane gas.  550 pounds.  28" seat height.  Every possible accessory known to man available - just for Speedmasters...

Yep.  After your photo shoot, I dashed home to get a ride in on the Speedmaster.  Did the Muenster Run, plus an hour long loop north up to the border and that really long bridge at the state line.  Four hours thirty, one fuel stop.  No tickets  Cheesy

Can't wait to check out the new Triumph! Glad I got to see the troublesome Guzzi one last time last week at lunch. You went from "taking it to Stuart to see what he can do with it this weekend" to "gee, look at the new bike I got"!!!! laughingdp Those devils at RPM must have put something in your coffee to get you to make the deal that fast. But it sounded like the Guzzi was a lame duck candidate at the Boyd household anyway. The voters had rejected it at the primarys and it was just a matter of time before it's "term" expired. Hail the new chief!!! applause laughingdp

Sounds like it's time for a break in run to Arkansas??!! waytogo [moto]

its too bad Guzzi can't put together a well working bike. I usually find their aesthetics pretty good. But they'll never be up to snuff performance-wise with Ducati or Aprilia, so they ought to go for Honda-reliability.  They've got a pretty decent following together over the years.
