Poll open for 1 week. Vote as many times as you want. I've evoked the "women" option on this poll - you can change your mind if you want...

For those not familiar with Teflon:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teflon

After the recent Le Tour De Oxley 2011, it was noted that Brian's bike, despite significant journey through rain, dirt and the like, looked like it came off the showroom floor. We attributed this to the silly amount of cleaning and polishing products applied to all parts of the bike over and over again.

From there (the Unofficial Oz Monster name coiner) The Bronster tagged him as Mr Teflon, which Mmick then rightly shortened to Teflon, as it seems inappropriate to use a formal title to describe Brians persona on this forum.

Let the masses decide  cheeky

we had a customer years ago who was nicknamed velcro as during his extensive racing history he had a tendency for coming unstuck.

sorry to have no meaningful input to the thread at hand.

would it be shortened to tefo or lonnie?

Brad, I suspect this thread will have absolutely no meaningful info in it what-so-ever.

If it sticks (ha ha) then the least we can do is let Brian decide on how to shorten it...

well I am glad you didnt go the other way with shortening Mr Teflon to Mr T..... laughingdp

since polishing is allegedly Brian's kink maybe some alternates:

The Polisher (The Punisher)
Two Hands (self explanatory)
Mr Miyagi (wax on wax off)
A.M.W.A.L.O.T.O.H.H (A Man With A Lot Of Time On His Hands - sux as an acronym I know)
The Ayatollah of Polishing All Over (yes attribute that to one too many Coronas...)

then again to expand on Teflon:
T.C. ( no not top cat - Teflon Coated)

Admittedly he does have a purdy bike and deservedly so after many hours of rubbing and using lubricants err polishes... laughingdp waytogo

Voted for the boring option. I got confused for weeks every time twodogs posted when he changed his name from Dez.   Undecided

I think Brian should have a sticky thread on how he manages to keep bikes looking like new, with tips for newbie cleaners.  I went and got myself a can of that non alu eating degreaser he uses and cleaned my bike yesterday and it looks better than it has in years. I found bits of engine that I had simply assumed were black forever that were actually just caked on road grime. This degreaser stuff just rips it off, you hose it all gently and voila! New Bike(ish). I just hope that none of the road grime I removed was structural!

I know I personally just give him a niggle about his obsessive compulsive cleaning disorder because I am jealous that his bike always looks a gazillion times nicer than mine bow down - Bastard!
