Well, it was 70 and nice outside. The shop has no exterior walls and sucky air flow.
Also, the lathe I was running was hauling the mail. I boiled off 10 gallons of coolant (as steam basically) in the 10 hrs I ran it.
It was like a sauna, inside a green house in here.
Ouch. No blowers to bring in outside air? My AC has been out since Sunday (110, then 112 on Monday). Luckily it's been cool enough at night to open windows and let some cool air in...

Stainless steel week for the mill.
We got 27 gallons of compacted chips from one 4 flute endmill in around 5 hours.

No power since Tuesday
I've started making arrangements to have some colleagues run my parts for me at their shops.

No one will say.
I stopped by our Senator's office this afternoon and asked them to make some calls. Got a VM back but will have to wait till Monday to call them.

Why is the Senator getting involved? Did I miss something?

I bet anyone that calls the power company from the senator's office carries more weight than any of us...even ML.

Isn't this thread about Kev's shop?
I think Carlos should have his own shop thread.

Carlos isn't poaching yet
I stopped at the Senator's office because we (all the tenants, my land lord, his/my insurance co) dont get why power isn't back up.
The borough supplies the electric that they buy from penelec. We have no option other than them.
They want Erie insurance to replace the transformer. Erie is saying make the beast with two backs you, your problem. Why aren't you fixing it?
Borough attorneys were on site today alongside borough engineers and electrical engineers from Erie Ins.
This is just a WAG, but I'm wondering if the borough hasn't been so fastidious when it came to inspecting/maintaining those transformers and now they're trying to buy time to figure out what to do.
But that's just me guessing.

...and hopefully he'll get some movement on it.
You'd think, seeing as the Borough is acting as a public utility, there would be a PUC that the senator can put some pressure on.
I guess Pennsyltucky and Panama both begin with P.
