Burger time!  Gotta say, the propane flat top is awesome.  Really awesome.

We found ourselves with like 160 hours of sawing to get done in 80 so I thought up using the fork extension on the forklift and letting the saw feed parts onto the fork extension.  Got a free 3 hours of sawing every night.

Amazing Sandvik boring head I bought for a horizontal mill job we picked up.  Bores 20.00 / 20.02mm all day long (.7874" / .7882")

This is the part that gets the bored hole.  The fixture I cooked up is a little redneck but it seems to work pretty well.

New machine coming off the truck!  That little fork lift does 25,000 pounds and 35,000 if they extend the counterweight on the back all the way out.

Some material in the new machine being held by these Schunk Claw Jaws I wanted to try out.  They should call them Vampire jaws.  They have these little teeth that pierce the skin of the material.  We've tried some impressive depths of cut and big feeds and I KNOW with normal hard jaws we would have torn the thing out of the chuck.  I'm talking .210 radial depth, .0155 feed per rev and 900 sfm.  I was really excited to see that combo work.  You know it's good if it gets my attention.

The machine has a chip conveyor. The robot will have an air nozzle for blowing off chuck jaws and parts.

We're covered even though we have way less than 50 people. The robot has DCS guarding. If you get near enough it slows to half speed. Get even closer and it stops. Laser scan of the area around the robot.

Thanks bud. I still don't feel "safe". Not all of the success is me. I have great employees that I just let do their thing.  A lot of how we do things came from them. I just make minor course corrections here and there and just sort of hang on for the ride Grin
