Can't dispute the army thing.

I have issues with the robots.

I'm old...sorry.

Ah. Right. So I'm not eliminating any jobs with it. All my guys are booked solid for, basically, ever.

This robot job came from a good customer and the parts don't pay much. I could hire someone, work them to death and maybe break even.

A robot running by itself and I'll make decent money on these parts. More income with less cost means everyone makes more come profit sharing time every qtr.

But yeah, I get it.

You and me both.

After I broke it I could see that it was broken. Beyond that, not a chance.

20x microscope shows the four flutes nicely.

Did you get any kind of reasonable life out of it?

Will you have to slow down the feed rates to preserve the tooling?

This is a brass part, cut depth was .040.

It made the whole part. Well, at least the part of it that it was supposed to machine. Then I ran the .01 endmill and that failed pretty fast. I discovered that the .0156 could actually do so all the finish work so I put it back in, recoded the finish process for that tool and let er rip.

I don't know where it broke, it why, but it didn't make it. I was only leaving .002 finish stock on the walls, and this is a part for me so I'll just adjust the mating part until this fits and it'll be fine.
