Well, I took a spare part into the heat treater and it checked out ok but barely.

So the waters get muddier.

I will probably still have to remake these parts, but that's more as a favor to my customer despite the fact that their customer (the end user of these parts) sucks.

It could be worse.

I could have had a dead spindle drive :o

Possibly. Find out if an m900ie flywheel fits your bike. I have an extra one of those.

got a few possible customers down here with post 2002 bikes . . . aren't all of those flywheels the same?

I'm not the expert. I just make them smaller ;D

I noticed Herms m1000 flywheel was the same as my 900ie's so possibly.

Mine is an SSR . . the only one they sell for 3phase Ducatis after 02 . . . intalled it and then for some weird reason, the tech took it out again . ..  something to do with warranty at the time . .  now I'm just going to do a complete job at once . .. clutch pack, flywheel, case saver and swap DSS for the ADSS  . . .

Depends on if you count items like the spurving bearing and panametric fam as widgets or do-dads
