(a) no.
(b) yes regularly
(c) I imagine that it probably does. I'll have to ask an "old person" about that one day.

I think El Matador was poking at ducpainter, but I've been wrong more than once.  [laugh]

That is a cool watch, you didn't take it apart, did you?

No, those photos were taken by the place that I bought it from. (pull apart desmo heads, yep. watches, no)

I can appreciate the workmanship that went into making that. It just looks right. I am glad that you treated yourself on your birthday. Well done! [clap]

Beautiful watch....did it come with a shop manual?  ;D

I believe they (watches) are becoming anachronistic (chron/chronos/time just having word fun here)

since we are now in an era where everyone is carrying a cellphone,

or some manner of hand-held that has a clock feature

I still wear one...a Raymond Weil...but I am old and like being anachronistic

great choice of wristware

I do like wristwatches, I'm currently sporting a very handsome Skagen.

Previously a couple of Caravelles; reasonably priced, eye-pleasing, and relatively durable.

The skagen is a little too nice for wearing in the shop, but otherwise perfect.
Not in the class of the others mentioned here, however.  :P

I wonder how youngsters today learn the meaning of 'clockwise' and 'counter-clockwise'.

I have had a Seiko for years. Bullet proof . Weill was our old family name many years ago in the old country.

I was just giving you shit for the sake of it. Consider me having a serious case of watch envy. Watchmaking fascinates me, and the craftsmanship required is mind blowing. Someday I'll own a double tourbillon.

And speeddog was right, the comment was aimed a certain dinosaur that posted earlier ;)
