Any idea if the stock 3 spoke wheel would it the SSS?

They won't. You can only use a rim from an 1100,796, 848, and/or hypermotard.

Is it a matter of the hub/cush drive size, or some other issue?

I would guess no offset is what keeps it from working, but I know nothing of the actual boltup.

everything.  no offset in the wheel, different axles, no pin holes for the wheel, no room for the calipers.

sssa wheels are designed very differently from dssa wheels.  there is no way it would work in any aspect at all.

You might use a 9xx Superbike 3-spoke rear wheel to match the stock front wheel. But I'm not sure if there are any issues.

I'm not 100pct on this, buy it believe the offset is different on the newer swingarms - hyper, monster, 848.  It might be a simple spacer to fix

I might be wrong,  but I think he was asking to save cost by keeping the stock,  which will not be possible at all

Hey buddy great bike. I just got mine and was wondering which tag eliminator you think is best Evotech or CW.

Also, how much did the swing arm cost to put on?

Thanks.

I'd probably recommend the same. Evo is much easier to install, looks like it's one piece. Cw is 3 pieces and takes some fiddling to install. The only real benefit I guess is that it's more tidy then the Evo.

Yeah the evotech does look a bit more solid, but i do like the position of the CW. Plus i could put a black powder coat on it to match the bike. I'll probably go with the evotech.

Thanks guys.

By the way here is my first bike. The only thing i did so far was take off the windshield. Next is tail tidy an integrated sequential taillight. Can't what to get started.

I had the CW on my 696 and put an Evo on the 796... I went back to the dealer and got the CW kit back in exchange for the stock tail parts because I absolutely HATE the plate placement of the plate on the evo kit.  Also, the plate light is next to non functional, and if you use an integrated tail light like I did, you have these ugly directional hangers that just stick out in space.  Ill try and remember to post some pictures of what i ended up using...a combination of the two kits.

EDIT: I will say that the Evo kit is much more well built, it has a great crinkle powdercoat finish, and nice robust construction, the CW kit is kinda flimsy (in comparison) stainless sheet metal.  Also, the stainless from the CW kit gets dirty in a hurry (although it cleans up fine) Im planning to have the stainless parts powdercoated to match the evo parts when i have downtime.

I just hacked off the directional hangers. I agree though that it's too bad theyre not on a removable bracket.

I hacked them off as well and used the stainless end piece (the one thats sorta cupped) to cover the cuts i made.

Hey guys,

How much does it cost to put a single side swing arm on a 2011 696? Where do you buy one?
