I hate to have to go hi tech, but I need to. Bought a Garmin Zumo 220.

Does anyone know, and can tell me, how to go from a detailed touring map made in googlemaps to having it stored in the GPS? Please go easy and don't assume I know shit, because I don't (GPS noob) For example, do I need a memory card?

Thanks [thumbsup]

I'll try that. If I fail and anger sets in - I'm blaming you [evil]

I feel better for being capable to operate the GPS with the linked service  8)

Garmin Zumo appears to not support "routes" from GoogleMaps, only individual waypoints.
So, I can't make a complete tour map and load it, only separate segments from one waypoint to the next.
It means I'll have to stop frequently and load the next "favorite" before riding along..... or plan the route on the GPS, which is much less convenient.

You're off the hook DP. I'm blaming Garmin.
