Amazing footage of a guy getting rear ended at a light.  He actually manages to stay on his feet!  I think having the truck in front of him actually helped.  Not sure what section to put this in so tried here.

No worries. I actually think this vid belongs in the "Riding Techniques" board as much as it belongs in the "HOLY make the beast with two backs! LOOK WHAT I FOUND!" board, if not more.

Totally avoidable incident from several perspectives. He shouldn't have put himself in that spot, she should have been paying attention.

Still, dude's lucky to walk away.

Too bad we don't have a crashing techniques section.

Oh, but we do:

It's just mislabeled.

Most definately.  I am a new rider so while other riders may cringe at vids like this, I like to look at them and try and figure out how not to find myself in a situation like that.  Obviousely left or right would be the way to go but it all happens so quick that I could see how it could happen especially with a newer rider.  Scary shit for sure!

i'm still not seeing what this guy did wrong, he slowed down and stopped bc the car in front of him stopped just as he did he was rear ended.  case closed.

there was no time to change lanes as the left side had a car immediately pass and even if he was watching his mirrors he wouldn't have had time to switch lanes to the right he would have probably been hit as he was going to the right lane thus hitting him at an angle.

the drive is totaly at fault after seeing this, there is no excuse at all from her.  you didn't hear skidding or anything from her car at all.

He really didn't... the driver who hit him is 100% at fault in my book
