We started this build about six months ago because we felt like the new 696/796/1100 monsters had a lot of unexplored potential.  Our goal was to make subtle and functional upgrades.  Hope you like it!

..but you'd think for all the customizing that was done that they could have done better than the simplest sprocket cover available.

looks great, and i think next step is to ceramic coat those headers... would blend in perfectly into the color scheme

Perhaps they meant to match the wheels.

Not bad looking though. Polish and paint the sub frame..... new rearsets.... it would be tits

It's a nice bike but trying to link it to the Darmah is sort of off.  The only thing it shares is the SD coloring and the scheme doesn't even hold true to the original.    No full body stripe, no gold wheels.  Could have used gold Carrozzeria 6 spokers and gotten a better tribute imho.

Nice bike, just not impressed with the very fleeting Darmah reference...

Perfect amount of gold and CF too.  Not TOO much of either!   waytogo

The only thing I would add would be a white/gold/black Termi sticker.

My bad, I honestly didn't even think of sprocket covers.  They don't really do much for me (nothing but aesthetics from stock).

Sometimes simple is better though.  What is out there that would have done better to "complete" the look?

And two of them are waiting for the powder coated parts to come back. Raise the bar guys...if you didn't fab a part yourselves or customize a part to fit something it should not have it's not a build. It's a customized bike.

Guess you haven't ordered parts from Ducati before.  I think we waited close to three month for the wheels and pipes to come in.  Don't hurt my ego with the build talk, I watch allot of American chopper  Grin Anyways who actually builds these days when we have google and the Internet  chug

I like the parts, the style and the commitment to DP parts for a dealer.
What I would like to see is a step further for a dealer as well.

A few other parts would be rearsets, sprockets, Titanium cans instead of Carbon (the original had no CF), pick up the rearsubframe CF covers that Bellisimoto carry and paint them black and add the Monster 1100S words on it similar to the original,

Massage the motor, lightweight flywheel, PC V, ergal cam rollers, port and polish, etc.

Paint and powdercoat parts like the headlight frame black, exhaust hangars black, wheels gold, upper triple and barmount black, spring black, paint the front fender (again CF isn't nostalgic) etc.

remove the lower oil cooler cowl since you removed the emissions and left the stock hole there (oversight?)

I understand the need to create something that is reversible though.
