Finally the name 'Charger' is starting to reflect properly upon it's Mopar heritage (not to mention look the part)!

I knew something internally had to have changed with the business for them to have made such a good change in the car!

GAAN

I've driven the charger in its current configuration

it's no slouch

Front end is still ugly. They need to channel the original Charger a bit more, like they did with the Challenger.  [drool]

I agree that it needs more heritage brought into the design, but I think it's better than how it has looked. Did anyone happen to notice that the front design looks to have stolen some cues from:

I was JUST about to post how similar it looks to a skyline in that first pic! [beer]

Actually, the development of the revised Charger and 300C were more or less done when Fiat took over....

I like the Charger but like the 300 even better....

I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Aren't those two cars in difference classes though? mid size sedan/sports car vs. full size/family car?

I had a 300 as a rental one time - man that was a big car, nice too and the ride was sure smooth.

It's a four door with no manual transmission.  [thumbsdown]
I know it didn't sell well, but I think the GTO was a much better representation, as is the Challenger.

Same platform though if I remember correctly.

Personally, I think this car looks a little too Japanese. I like the styling of the 07 version better than this one, If I wanted a Nissan I'd go buy one. I wouldn't buy a Dodge so that people could tell me "hey, your car looks a lot like the GTR".

I'm not quite sure why we can't can't build a more retro looking car using the technology and safety standards we have now. IMO, if Dodge wants to garner more sales they should start making these "throwback" cars look more like the originals. I would buy a 2012 version that looked more like this....

...rather than the one above that looks like a Nissan. Just my opinion.
