Here is the story:
Pictures are after the story.
I bought my 1997 Ducati monster 750 in late August, a week before I went off to school, I still rode it a few times, and I love it! But I did no modding before I went to school but I had money from the bike I previously sold, aka mod money. So over the last few months I have built up a stock pile of mods that I have yet to put on. I have gone home twice since I left, but it was too cold to really do anything. But now my mom has our new garage built (heated) and it is starting to warm up enough where I can mod. I also have spring break coming up, and guess what I'm doing? That's right spending the entire time working on the Duc in the garage. This is March 7-13. So expect a post sometime after that with pictures and a movie or two, as I just bought a GoPro HD camera. So I will be making a timelapse of some sort of me installing everything hence the name (from old to new(er)). I will also be making a movie of a exhaust comparison from stock to the danmoto exhaust. Onboard movies will come this spring/summer.
all the mods I have:
Driven clip-ons
Rizoma grips and bar ends
Frame sliders
Vapor Stealth gauge and dummy lights
Bikemonkey LED brake light
Master brake cylinder
Sport touring gel seat
Rizoma mirrors
Danmoto dual carbon fiber slip-on exhaust
Fren Tubo Stainless Steel brake lines
Clear Brembo brake fluid tubing
K&N Oil filter
and more...(oils and seals)
paint (don't worry I'm a somewhat experienced painter)
Ducabike rearsets
most of the things I have to do in that week (may not be in exact order):
Remove tank pad, Tail chop, Change oil.
The "Mike Qube" paint job, black as there is a acid stain in the same spot:

Replace Fork oil and seals, Remove/paint rotor, Put back on and install clip-ons
Remove rear spring, paint and put back on
Un-lift bike
Bleed brake fluid
Paint calipers
Install calipers, brake lines and all hand controls
Install gauge and mirrors
Fix surface rust under tank
remove and wash headers
Remove rearsets and install new ones
Put headers back on and install new exhaust
Install seat
Wash
Now for some phone pics:
The day I got it: with my old bike 2008 Kawasaki ninja 250r, not me on it.
About what it looked like at thanksgiving, since then I removed the rear hugger and side panels
I removed the speedo cable that is wrapped around the fork, after I took the pic
This was to give me an idea on what the danmoto exhaust looked like, I didn't install it. Since I'll have ducabike rearsets the exhaust will most likely be facing up some more.
This is a clip of me turning on the vapor gauge (turning on the bike, not starting it), to see if I got the wire splicing right, dummy lights didn't work but I got them to work after. I didn't install it. Took it off afterward like the exhaust.
My GoPro movies will be on youtube not photobucket like this one.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for my post around the 13th of March, lots of pics and clips
