These releases were announced at the Nuremberg Toy Fair last week.  Various moto models in 1/12 scale from Tamiya, Hasegawa, and Fujimi.  Rumor has it that the Fujimi Super Cub is the first of a series of vintage Hondas, or possibly vintage Japanese bikes in general.

To get an idea of what is currently available in this scale, check out Hobby Link Japan's site:

Neato. waytogo

I have their 916 model from a few years back. Haven't built it yet because I'm confident I'll dick it up. laughingdp

So where are the motorcycle models? I didn't see a single umbrella girl in any of the photos.  Wink

These things are crazy. The detail is pretty amazing.

No way anyone would be painting that, it would have to be a decal.

You can see the decal sheet for his helmet and leathers in the third image.

Anymore I don't  have the patience or articulation to put one of those kits together with that much detail, I respect those that can. I resort to getting the 1:12 Die-cast such as these:

On the bright side, the Pedrosa model is life-sized.

I have a few Tamiya Honda & Ducati kits.  I got some of them when I visited Japan.   They cost half the price over here.  Still looking to get a good deal on a Desmosidici kit.  I'm saving them for when I retire (ie; too weak to ride).   laughingdp
