going up to Griffith Park next week in the evening to check out the observatory.

Any recommendations for places to eat nearby?  Something with walk up counter service is preferable.  Casual atmosphere, relatively inexpensive, and tolerant of bikers.

Great food, great ambiance, bike friendly.  Counter seating, booths, and tables outside.

thanks robert, that's perfect.  I was thinking Philippes, but that's a little further away.

I noticed House of Pie is right nearby which sounds way more awesome than it probably is.

Any idea what the wait would be around 8-9pm?

Yeah, House of Pie is just OK, but sometime you just really, really WANT pie, right?

8-9 should be OK...a little later than normal dinner hour, and well before the club crowd crawls in (the place is a people watcher's paradise after 2 AM, then again, if we are there at that time, it means we is them).

You going to see Laserium??   Laserium memories...mid-late 70s...weed, vodka, Synergy  and Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun...good times...good times...

... I gotta say House of Flies (Pies) is no better than a Pollys Pies or Dennys..... (Norms etc...)
