Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”

I am going to head up the old road to Calga for my first decent squirt in a little while tomorrow morning...

So on Saturday I did 2 laps of "Berowra - Calga", and back home by 11am.

Almost no motorbikes out despite the glorious weather and PITS had more bicycles than motorbikes when I stopped for a cup of tea.

I did not see any Police taking photo's, but there was some guy from bikephotos.com.au (near RW) which put me off a bit.

In hindsight, I should have kicked onto Kulnurra for the coffee!

Kulnura was great, coffee was acceptable but the pea-soup thick fog was crap!
I left early, passed through Berowra around 7:20am so that may have been the issue.....

Yeah, we popped into PITS on Saturday as well ... around lunchtime. We were there for about 1.5 hours and there was hardly any bikes. In fact when we left I did a count ... there was 9. There was actually more cars than bikes!

Considering the weather and the closure at Mount White ... I think it is fair to say, an impact has been made.

No, no you don't understand ... that is why he installed the bafflers - to confuse the buggers.

You will end up taking the knees out of those jeans........... waytogo

Don't knock the jeans they do a commendable job of hiding the fact that half of his trellis is missing.

Sorry Rod (and other new-gen owners) I couldn't resist that one ... it's been far too long.

RE: Elvis leathers, bought off ebay for $400, sold on ebay for $400 after my CSS day, even Stevens!
RE: Baffles/bafflers: this is my only disappointment about this bike, am baffled by the fact that my old 620 sounded so much better than this does
RE: Half trellis, agreed... the full trellis looks heaps better
RE: Fast boots, they are bloody awesome, so comfy... I got them during that crazy Frasers sale a couple years back... bargain!
