Missed that but I feel your painting pain Brian, we finally took on the staircase areas this weekend.
I give no warranty on my painting work, but wifey is happy to have it completed.

Hope you had fun riding.

Good to catch up with Sir Rob today. Old Road was good, not too busy  Police ... just a little damp down in the shady pockets.

Weather was perfect in the middle of the day.

Well we're doing it all again tomorrow.  A couple of us are meeting at PITS around 10 ... everybody is welcome except the rain.

OK so I know I am a couple of weeks late ... but yes, so early (leaving home around 9) it was cold and there was a lot of fog on the Old Road which didn't help with visibility.

Met with Andy, then Brian & Darren about an hour late.

In the interests of safety (the Boss unable to feel her extremities) we didn't join Andy on his little jaunt - which apparently went well.

Don't know if this is the right thread or not ... but we took the scooter down to Road Warriors on the weekend and noted a 'Notice' in the window regarding police entrapment.

I can't remember the exact date, but it was only a couple of weeks ago. Apparently an un-marked car (soft-roader) ... would wait by the side of the road and then pull out in front of bikes. If the bikes did not immediately pass the vehicle it would purposely slow down below the speed limit encouraging an overtake - both instances likely to be over double lines.

The illegal overtake was then filmed and radioed through to a marked car further along the road.

The notice was asking those effected to contact an email address to consider options/action against the unconscionable and unsafe behaviour.

Mods: feel free to move or remove as you see fit ... but I believe this is a valid safety / awareness issue.

You wonder how they really think that behaviour like that can be considered reasonable.
If you were a car driver you'd either be hitting them with headlights or something similar to notify the driver that their actions are dangerous.

Lovely tactic  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The hot girl I was chasing on the scooter prudently decided it is better to follow the HWP than be pursued by them.
