So I know that there are usually viewing parties for the Moto GP races, I was just wondering where they are going to be for the first race of the year.

One of the shops in the OC is hosting one at Costa Mesa Hooters. I'll update with more info when I can find the thread.

dainese store in costa mesa? newport? usually hosts also.  sometimes ducati newport beach.  sometimes Brea Ducati.  Pro Italia.

I'm going to see if my local bikini bar will play it from Speed (if it comes on at a reasonable time).
My fast lap is your sighting lap.

There *might* be a viewing party put together by SoCAL DMC and OCDC.... same place we've had the Indy viewing party....

I'm not 100% on that yet

This is my plan if it happens. On a scale of 1-10, how was the Indy viewing thingy? That'll be a factor too.

Its the same feed as SPEEDTV.. just at the Big Office so its in the theater with tons of seats)... plenty of drinks to be had for gratis (courtesy of the host), one year we bought a bunch of pizzza's, last year we all went out to grub after. It's a fun g2g and you get to meet peeps from OCDC ans SoCAL DMC ( if you havent already met some/most of 'em).

Plus theres the game room and other kewl crap to check out inside the place...

.. a tad late to the converssation i see [cheeky]

That's what i was talking about ( just like Indy viewing party the last few years)..

I'm not sure if it's a 100% go yet ( Ryan may/may not be back in time) so i didn't want people rolling in for a no-go. As soon as I hear i'll post up.

the DOC's = SoCal DMC and OCDC

I've heard nothing from OCDC, but I don't hear much from them lately as it is.

So is it by invitation only? I haven't got a response from DOCSD.

They sent an email out a couple of weeks ago.
