For the folks up near Baltimore:

I started practicing law in 1998.  I started in private practice billing 200/hr for someone paying me 30K/yr (paying dues as it were but tons of Court time so great).

I got out of private practice in 2001 to go to the area of law in foster care/child abuse.

I own a law firm with 7 employees representing 1,000 kids in foster care.  Victims of abuse and neglect bad enough to have them taken from their families.

I will always do this as it is important to me.

I have a great crew right now, I have the office running smoothly, and I have some free time so:

I have started a second law firm.

Law Offices of C. Sean Robinson.

Domestic, traffic, and criminal law.

I have myself, and six great attorneys available for the above issues in and around Baltimore. (I'll go as far South as Annapolis and up into Howard County).

Clearly quite discounted for DMF folks.

Spread the word.

contact me here.

And yes... I'll toss some money at the DMF for my advert time.   ;D

Good luck with the new venture my friend.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I hope I'll never need your services or even out of state consult - but seeing how you MD folks drive, you'll do well.  ;D

DC or VA is probably harder. Practicing law in various states takes getting on the Bar in that state

Can't you practice in DC just by passing any state's bar?

We have bars in Va. I'm sure you'll do fine

Looks like ben found a bar and manage to delete himself.   ;D

I can waive into dc but haven't had the need.  I recently renewed my federal bar so I suppose I can now "make a federal case out of it".  8)

No rush, it's not like we'll be missing some valuable input!

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.
