I don't post up here all the time but I do get a lot of reading in.

I am in the Army and will be moving to Heidelberg Germany this spring and was wondering if there were any other riders over there.  If so shout out and lets ride thsi summer!  [beer]
I'm in the Army, I ride bikes.

I believe Raux is in Germany.

Yep, he's to the west of Kaiserslautern.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Yep.  Lived there for four years and absolutely loved it!  There is some very good riding in the Eifel (Near Trier) and some rather epic riding all throughout the Pfalzwald.

Raux

Just saw this.

I may be trying to get something together this summer for all the Euro-based people.

I hate to say let's creat a local board, but we should get a email list at least, hate to miss anyone.

Maybe the guys at Rexxer and Desmoworld would help support something.

I'm livin' in germany too, right in the middle, city of Kassel (Northern Hesse).

If you need some help or support, please let me know.

There are also some Ducati boards (www.desmorados.com, www.duc-forum.de, www.desmo-forum.de) were you can get connected to other Ducatisti ....

Raux

One of the most active places in the Netherlands, but I'd like to work with a shop, or Daniele Moto or someone to get some cool time and info as well with a supporter or at least someone that is doing stuff with our forum

DesmoWorld and DanieleMoto (Rexxer) are really working with our guys. Desmoworld is HQ'd in Nurmburg I think and DanieleMoto is north. Durbahn and Kaemna are also north, but as Lars (Stopintime) will tell you, they are worth the visit.

Also, near my area is Hockenheim which has track days for bikes at low rates. There also is St. Wendel which hosts a great old timer rally with a small track (cool old Ducs, MVs etc)

It's all a matter of scheduling and support. I have been a bit late in getting this done, Lars had mentioned it late last year but I've been swamped.

There is a DOC in Ktown, but no English speakers. The local Duc shop is alright again no english speakers. There is a local shop that specializes in old SBK but it's not big enough to host anything.

I will try to work something in the next few weeks as I know people are starting to plan their summer trips.

Not in Heidelberg anymore; but when we did live there 04-06, I used M.A.D Motorrader for dealer service. They are in Nussloch, about 15 minute ride south of Campbell Barracks. Great guys to do business with.
