Road Racing sure made some cool stuff for the earliest Monsters.  It was all before my time of being into Ducati.  I knew about their rims and aluminum tanks, but didn't know about the gauges.  Check out the gauges on this eBay bike.  Looks like a nice replacement for stock gauges.

I've wondered about what happened to them a few times, anyone know any contact information for anyone from the company? I'd really like to get them back into the game somehow.

hadesducati848, sorry that was a cover pic on a Italian blog.
I did a quick search for content and didn't find anything.
I'm sure it can be found with some more effort.

I have roadracing gauges on my 96 m900, problem is the guy I bought it from dropped something on the tach, so the cover was cracked.  Searched high and low for a simple plastic covering replacement, no luck.  So now I have the roadracing tach sitting in a box, and the white faced speedo from roadracing with a grey faced tach from ducati performance installed.

is the cover threaded and just screws on top of the guage (1 piece) or is it just
a simple flat piece of plexiglass and has a threaded lockring that screws over top
of it to hold it in place? (2 piece)

It looks EXACTLY like the Ducati Performance gauge cover.  Black plastic around the outside with the clear glass set in the middle, same dimensions and everything.  They are threaded, but I believe that they are super glued with something permanent enough that if you try to unscrew it again you will break the cover.

Their gauges were really great looking imo - as I recall the gauge bracket was billet and came in different colors - i'm certain I've seen black, and pretty sure I've seen red as well.

I have the RR housing & tach.
Never seen any other finish than brushed alu.
Tach glasses all gets a crack if you use them.....

Not threaded 2piece, superglued real good.
I`ll fix mine any year now.....

i had the RR cowl, RR tank, RR guages.

Sad to me, it was one of those eye catching monsters. wish i could of kept it but it had too many running problems. i REALLY like the fact that i can see the top belt. the new tanks hide it. :/
