Starting to consider replacing the exhaust of my bike with the motocreation boomtubes. I have never taken off an exhaust of a bike before and was looking a little bit recently and I'm a little unsure of how daunting the task might be. Is this something that is pretty straight forward or more of a take it to the shop and let the professionals take care of it? Thanks for the help.

It's easy.  You can see virtually everything you need to remove.  Juts start undoing stuff.  It takes about 1 minute to remove the stock pipes from the udder back.  The udder up through headers isn't much tougher with the right tools.

Unless you just despise doing the work yourself, or lack the tools, I would give it a run on your own.  Worst case, you ride with a slightly leaky exhaust to the shop after you fail :).
