I was 29 in '78, so I was long gone from any Big Wheel stuff.

Wish there was such a thing when I was a kid..

I had a bike when I was 6 , I believe it was a 19 " and then when I was 8, I got a 26" Schwinn 3 speed .

Had lots of fun for several years on that bike.

A drag race with crazy spin-outs at the end.

For those that have regression issues (or when the bike's in the shop), San Francisco has a big wheel race down Portrero Hill.

When I was a kid, we played with bb guns, broken glass and matches.   Evil

LOVED my Green Machine as a kid....absolutely LOVED it.  I wish I still had it LOL.  I wonder how many Green Machines were responsible for creating motorcyclists as the kids got a little older...

Yeah, I had one of these...

..and we had the same swear/lie that we'd only pull it back halfway.  Evil

Thankfully I had a Levi's lined denim jacket that helped take some of the sting out of it.  Undecided

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I got many beat downs from Mom after using the slingshot.  She's take it away and I'd go steal it back repeatedly.
