That's a SWEET SDR!!!  Only thing is, the guy has no idea what he has. It's got the Akra header yes, but those are FMF slip-ons.

Nobody will buy it for some reason. His price has gone down significantly from where it started.
The paintjob is just awful IMO, otherwise I would hav considered it a while ago.

That really is a bad paint job.  They have another 999 that looks like it's been through chipper shredder for 4200 with a salvage title. I get the feeling they buy whatever they can at auction  cheaply, clean it up and turn it around to make a few dollars.

If you are seriously looking for a track bike I ran into a fellow here in Coastal NC last year that had a 999SP he was thinking about selling. I could track him down and see if it is still for sale.

I think it's a special model with different engine internals. More go-faster than the base or S, but less than an R. Might be wrong though.
